The Texas Mediation Trainer Roundtable is open to any mediation
trainer who has designed and conducted at least one 40-hour mediation
training course. The Roundtable's goals are to:
- Develop standards for quality 40-hour basic mediation training in Texas
- Promote information exchange among mediation trainers
- Promote collegial and cooperative relationships among mediation trainers
In its efforts to develop standards for the basic mediator training in
Texas, Roundtable members have met six times. The first meeting was
held during August 1992 in Austin. Subsequent meetings were held in
Houston, Austin or the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Interested members of
the public are welcome to be included in the mailing list and will
receive periodic updates of the Roundtable's activities. For more
